In October, at the National Cathedral in Washington, DC, Dwight Holland, M.D., Ph.D., was promoted to Officer in The Most Venerable Order of St. John under the administration of HRH Charles III, with Prince Richard, the Duke of Gloucester, presiding over the ceremony. The Venerable Order of St. John is a UK Hospitaller Knightly organization whose roots go back to the 11th century in the Holy Land and is a humanitarian organization that helps to protect the sick and vulnerable. In other news, Dr. Holland is continuing into his 5th year of service as the Treasurer of the Virginia Air and Space Forces Association (AFA) and has also been recently promoted to Vice-President for Advocacy and Governmental Relations for the State AFA as well.
