International Congress of Aerospace Medicine

The International Congress of Aerospace Medicine, or ICAM, is convened by the International Academy of Aviation and Space Medicine (IAASM) in even-numbered years.

This event is held in conjunction with the European Society of Aerospace Medicine (ESAM), the Aerospace Medical Association (AsMA), and one or more local aerospace medicine organizations. Organizers of an ICAM can find additional information here.

ICAM brings together professionals in aerospace/aviation medicine, space medicine, human performance, and related scientific, clinical, regulatory, and educational fields. It covers a broad spectrum from airline medicine and aeromedical certification to human factors, crew training, and spaceflight health.

Notably, ICAM is separate from the International Congress of Aviation and Space Medicine (ICASM), which is held in odd-numbered years.

Both ICAM and ICASM are held in different locations every other year, with ICASM 2025 being hosted in Singapore and ICAM 2026 in Istanbul, Türkiye. They offer excellent opportunities for professionals to network, learn from experts, and advance the field of aerospace medicine.
