The Aerospace Medical Association (AsMA) is pleased to announce Dr. David Newman, AM, has been appointed Chief Editor, with Dr. Dan Popa, M.D., Ph.D., serving as Associate Chief Editor, of the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medicine (UHM) journal. Together, they bring world- scientific leadership, editorial expertise, and frontline clinical insight that will elevate the journal’s rigor, relevance, class and global impact. AsMA looks forward to Dr. Newman’s continued leadership of our Aerospace Medicine and Human Performance journal as he takes on this new role with UHMS, emphasizing the value of interdisciplinary partnerships and advancing scientific knowledge across the pressure spectrum from sea to air to space.

The Undersea and Hyperbaric Medicine Journal accepts manuscripts for publication related to the areas of diving research and physiology, hyperbaric medicine and oxygen therapy, submarine medicine, naval medicine, and clinical research related to the above topics. To be considered for UHM, scientific papers must deal with significant and new research in an area related to biological, physical, and clinical phenomena related to the above environments. Reports of major contributions or symposiums will be considered and may be published as supplements to regular issues.
