In 2027, the University of Texas Medical Branch’s (UTMB’s) Aerospace Medicine program will launch an Undersea and Hyperbaric Medicine Fellowship that combines training in diving, hyperbaric, and aerospace medicine. The program covers human performance in a variety of extreme environments across the pressure spectrum, preparing a new generation of physicians to practice interdisciplinary operational medicine in the next era of space exploration.
